Akron Community Foundation

The Akron Community Foundation places the power of philanthropy with everyday citizens, allowing them to improve the quality of life in our community.  Kim Haws is a Board member and sits on the Grants Advisory Committee.  Kim Miller is a member of the Professional Advisory Council for the Akron Community Foundation. Women’s Endowment Fund

In 1993, a group of 106 women came together with one goal in mind – to make a difference in the lives of local women and girls. Seeing a need for funding to support programs that empower this population, the women each gave $1,000 to start the Women’s Endowment Fund of Akron Community Foundation. Kim Haws has been a longtime supporter of the Women’s Endowment fund and served as a former board member. Pamela Kiltau sits on the Board of the Women’s Endowment Fund as Treasurer and Chair of Development and Stewardship & Kim Haws also served on the Board of Directors with over 9 years of service. Rotary Club of Akron

The Akron Rotary Club aims to encourage and foster the ideal of service for our community. Rotary is an organization of professional men and women united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards and help build goodwill and peace in the world. The Akron Club was founded in 1913 and Pam was the first woman admitted into the club in 1987. She has served on their Board of Directors, is a past President and a Paul Harris Fellow.  She has also served on the Board of Directors for the Akron Rotary Foundation. Learn more »

Rotary Camp

The Rotary Camp for Children with Special Needs, in cooperation with the Akron Area YMCA, offers children and adults with disabilities the opportunity to experience all the friendship, fun and excitement of camp.  Pam is currently the President of the Board of Directors. Learn more »

The Boys & Girls Club of the Western Reserve

Kim is a longtime supporter of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Western Reserve with three Priority Outcome Areas: Academic Success, Good Character & Citizenship and Healthy Lifestyles for our youth. Learn more »


CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy so every abused or neglected child in the United States has a voice. Kim Haws currently serves as Board President and Kim Miller serves as a local CASA. Learn more »

Keep Akron Beautiful

Keep Akron Beautiful develops and implements public education and community involvement programs on litter prevention, recycling, and beautification of the city. Kim is currently Vice Chair of the Board of Directors and Co-Chair of the fundraising committee. KAB envisions a litter-free Akron, where all citizens and businesses take pride and responsibility for the cleanliness and beautification of their environment. Learn more »

Helps leaders see beyond their own spheres to the bigger picture of the community and inspire them to become more effectively involved as community leaders. Pam and Kim Haws are both very involved with numerous committees within the organization. Pam is a Leadership Akron Graduate Class of VIII and Kim Haws is a Leadership Akron Graduate Class of XX. LPGA Amateur Golf Association - Baird and the LPGA Amateur Golf Association

Baird has partnered with the LGPA Amateur Golf as the Presenting Sponsor of the 2017-2019 LGPA Amateur Golf CUP Series. LPGA Amateur Golf is focused on creating local and national golf communities and experiences for its thousands of members and hundreds of chapters across the globe. Kim Haws and Pam play for the Akron/Canton chapter.
